These amazing Amethyst are a relatively new find and are mined by the Shangaan tribal people. It comes from the Chibuku mine located in Zimbabwe near the border with Mozambique. Most of these crystals have Red Hematite & Rutile inclusions that emanate grounding & stabilizing frequencies as well.

The Legend of Amethyst stems all the way back to the 12 Tribes of Israel and was one of the stones on the Hebrew Breast-plate of the High Priest. Amethyst, a Quartz & Iron formation is known as the sobriety stone. Assists in de-attachment to addictions & over indulgence. Amethyst along with pyrite have been widely used to assist in increasing intelligence and providing business people with sharp powers of judgment; the ability to accurately asses situations or people, and turn them to ones advantage.
